The Florida Keys is also
known as "The Waterspout Capitol Of The World" |
|
|
| Waterspouts
are a common occurrence in the Florida Keys. They are often referred
to as tornadoes over water. A tornadic waterspout is truly a tornado
over water, however, a fair weather waterspout forms differently
than a tornadic waterspout and is usually less intense and
dangerous. |
